Hello I am new to this forum my name is Theresa. my dad installed mepis linux operating system because my windows xp crashed and i really like it however i cant get any games to down load for me or i cant install any of them. I would really like my yahtzee game to be installed on my computer or a good download of one. any one have any ideas out there? [removed for your privacy and protection] thank you Theresa

Hi Theresa. Mepis is, I believe, debian based. It should come with a tool called Synaptic - read this to understand how to use it.

http://www.mepisguides.com/ is a site with guides on using Mepis.

This will all seem like a massive hassle at first - having to read up in the OS to get it working - but it will be very rewarding in the end. And LQ is always here if you get stuck.

Is this Yahtzee game a Linux program, or originally written for something else?

Do you know which ver. of MEPIS your dad installed?
