Hi . I'm I like foobar 2000 best of all the music players... and so I would like to use it in linux too... I've installed wine from synaptic, then I just installed foobar 2000 by klicking on the '.exe' file. Foobar starts up and can play music files, but I get a dll error at startup and when I start new songs...

If your app runs and works as expected in WINE, my advice would be to count your blessings and not worry about those errors. Wine is really rough, experimental software, so these kinds of things are the norm.

After I uninstalled and installed foobar again it worked great, with no errors.
