dual boot

I had windows and linux 8 on my system.
But due to problems in windows I had to reinstall windows. Now I have windows XP
Now linux is not accessible.

Please inform me if there is any way I can get access to Linux as well.

I linux version is redhat linux 8.0
I am not using mepis .
All I have is the linux installation CDs.

what distro are u using.. do you have the CD/DVD/floppy for it that can boot. If not post the distro name and I can help you find something on the net with which u can make a boot dik and save linux

You're posting in Mepis, so I'm assuming you're using Mepis. Boot the Mepis live CD. Log in as root. Go to the Mepis OS Center, and go to reinstall Grub. Make sure to install Grub to the MBR.
