Desktop Icon Migration


how come my icons move around on my desktop? does anyone else have this problem where icons move around the desktop?

Have you tried locking the icons in place. Right click on an empty space on the desktop -> Icons -> Lock In Place (align to grid).

I have the same problem & I tried the your solution. My "icons" sub-menu only has "Align to grid", not "Lock In Place (align to grid)". (BTW, I already had "Align to grid" checked.)

I'm still running KDE 3.3.2, what's my solution? (w/o upgrading yet)
