can taskbar contents be specific to a desktop?

I diverted one of my open Konqueror windows to Desktop 2, to get it out of the way without closing it, but I see that it remains on the taskbar [panel?] in Desktop 1. Is there any way to make it visible on the taskbar/panel only in Desktop 2?

In the KDE panel configuration, go to the taskbar tab and uncheck "show windows from all desktops". Then open windows will only display on their own desktops.
