Can't log in
I just installed Mepis with a dual boot to M$ Windoze XP. When I get into GRUB to select Mepis it loads then I get an all white screen with the users root and default, but I have no cursor or KB activity, do I need a PS2 Keyboard/Mouse in order for me to choose my account or is it a problem with Mepis and should I reinstall?

Well, the mouse is probably an issue, but if you just want to use the keyboard to log in, you can use tab and just type in your username and password, then hit Enter or Return.

you have no cursor even in the login? Cause usually, the password is not echo'd to the screen.
If this is the default login, click on root and just type your root password.
If that doesnt work, then it might be a kb issue.
