A demonstration video was just posted on MepisLovers today. Go to the Newbies forum and look for "An Introduction to Linux - Demonstration Video now available..." I've only watched a few minutes of it, but have already learned a couple of new things.

If you are talking about Firefox, you can go to tools in drop down menu, there you can find internet options (or directly downloads). Click that and your wanted window will be displayed.
Hope this works to clear downloaded files, of course, that will not delete your saved files (only deletes from temporary files storage of firefox).

I'd highly recommend "The Official Ubuntu Book".

I have never clicked on that button.... I think I should now but don't know where to find this button now that I am not downloading music.

Do you think I should somehow open this program, and click on clear all download history, and that will be a plus to my computer's ram memory? Or does this happen
automatically ?

Flywelder
Go ahead and hit the button. History in firefox and other browsers should be deleted about once a week or you might see a little slowdown.

Also you don't need a book if you just search the mepislover.org search feature. You can find just about anything that you need there. If your particular problem is not there then you can join mepislovers and post your question. Lot's of guys there willing to lend a hand.
