First of all,hi. I hope you can help me with this question.

I've got the latest version of SimplyMEPIS(3.3.1-1) and a Gecube ATI Radeon 7000 w/64 Mb.I can't get it to work at 1042x768 with my monitor,which is a bit old(by the info I got it's an Amptron Monitor JD144C,model AMPJD144C).Now,is it because of the monitor,or beacuse of the video card? I couldn't find drivers for my card,so I don't know if there is an immediate solution for this...

I have a A7N8X-E Deluxe as the motherboard.I'm not sure if this helps.

have you gone into the oscenter and checked the "use official driver" dialog yet? if not make sure your repos are up todate by comparing them with this list and updating if needed, then enabling the card, however I hear ATI support is quite a lot better in 3.4rc1 so you might want to try it.
