A program to view webcams...
I'm very versed in Slackware. I installed Mepis on a friends computer, and she is wondering how to view webcams thru im programs . Do any clients allow this? Would we have to install the Yahoo or aMSN programs? Or what?
Or is there something native to Mepis to allow this?

Did she try apt-cache search webcam?
On my debian box I come up with a few: came, camorama, camstream, gqcam, & webcam. Might be a little different on Mepis depending on which version of debian it's based on...
