Starting Graphical Apps as Root

Hello,

I used to be able to start graphical application, such as dolphin, using kdesudo. But this command is not recognised in manjaro.

What command should I use to ensure that file permissions are not changed

I am uisng manjaro (Plasma: KDE)

Thanks

Instead of kdesudo, try just kdesu instead. I think the command changed a little while back, but I'm not sure. I use openSUSE, but the same thing happened there, but kdesu works fine.

Sudo and/or su are used at the command-line. Kdesu is run to start an X application as a root-level user, in the GUI.
