CLI file manager issues

Decided it would be a good idea to have a file manager in the XFCE command line. So I installed ranger, and while I was getting acquainted with it, I noticed that it wasn't displaying hidden files by default like mc does. So I pressed CTRL-H to make those appear (which is supposed to work in this case) and got NADA! So I then installed mc, just to see if that would do what I wanted, and it did. Does ranger somehow not get along very well with Manjaro (or Arch for that matter)?

The alternative key shortcut of 'zh' seems to work but I am also not able to get Ctrl-h to work. Perhaps it is not mapped correctly or being caught by something else in the environment.
I am in openbox as opposed to xfce so the DE is possibly not to blame.

Smile CLI file manager issues: SOLVED

Yup! That's what did it. Apparently CTRL-H is the only modified key sequence that isn't doing what it should be right now and the 'cheat sheet' doesn't mention this zh keystroke for some reason. Everything else works just great.
