XMMS, Xine, MPlayer and Totem don't work in KDE 3.2
Hi, I'm using Mandrake 10.1 Official. I have installed from de cd's Xine, XMMS, Totem and MPLayer, but they don't work when I'm using KDE, the problem is that when I open a file whith any of these programs, they freeze and they don't do anything more, and I have to kill them.
I tried to use them in Gnome and they worked fine.
Well, thanks for your help. Regards.
This may help resolve any dependents that may be missing, and update programs to the working versions.
As a general rule, I don't use software off the older disks. IE: After installing Official, I Don't use the Community disks for anything but tea-coasters. (or I give them to a friend, so they can try MDK)
Hi. I could solve the problem with XMMS and MPLayer, but I still have problems with Totem. The problem is that I can open it (form KDE), but when I try to do something (no matters what) the application finishes unexpectedly.
I tried to install another version of Totem, but I have the last version (the versiones that comes with Mandrake 10.1).
When I try to use it in Gnome, it works fine.
Well, thanks for your help. Regards.
