x includes not found?


im trying to compile kde from source. the programm im trying to compile is aRTs so when i issued "./configure" after all the words scroll pass at the end i got this "checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!".

any idea what it ask for?

don't compile kde.. there's no point... but if you want to do it for whatever reason, installed the xfree86-devel (or xorg-devel on newer distro's) package. you've not said what distro this is, so can't say where to get it from other than your cd's. plpease provide more useful info next time.

If you are missing anything instead follow the directions on my sig to set up your URPMI sources and then

urpmi arts
