WPA on wireless network

I have a working NETGEAR wg511 card (prism drivers). I got it to work with WEP, but I would like it to work with WPA so my home network will work with the other computers that get messed up with WEP.

How do I get WPA-PSK working?

I am working on the exact same thing. There is a program, wpa_supplicant but when I try to run the .conf file it gives me an error of:

Invalid configuration line: ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant

please help

EDIT: I have an WMP54G card.

New problem:

I ran

wpa_supplicant -Dndiswrapper -iwlan0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -dd

NOT under root, I didnt get the previous error but now i get this:

Initializing interface (2) 'wlan0'
ioctl[SIOCSIWMODE]: Operation not permitted
Could not configure driver to use managed mode
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Permission denied
Could not set interface 'wlan0' UP
socket(PF_PACKET, SOCK_RAW): Operation not permitted
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Permission denied
rmdir[ctrl_interface]: no such file or directory

This is making me mad

Once again another problem:

I ran:
wpa_supplicant -Dndiswrapper -iwlan0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf

and I get:

Associated with (mac address)

and it loops this over and over. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I don't know, I'm going to try this again tomorrow plugged in with an ethernet cable so I don't have to keep coming on windows to check the internet.
