123cats, I would suggest you start a new thread, rather than add a comment to another one. Basically, you won't get noticed doing this. New unansered threads are visited by a lot of people who like to help. Simple questions get better response.
Yes, xorg 'broken' is a bad thing. This is the area that controls your gui, keyboard mouse etc. The fact that it worked the second time would tell me what ever made it fail the first time may have had something to do with a path, or updated code, if it worked after a boot.
If it is working now, leave it alone. Good rule, if it ain't broke; don't fix it.
