WooHoo! Mandriva spring
 

Hi All,
I am amazed how easy it was to install and configure 2008.1 spring..I have a AMD 64x2 4300 CPu and MSI K9N4-SLI-F Motherboard and 2g patriot DDR2 800 ram.
The install went Flawlessly and it also connected to the onboard ethernet
to get online..Went to EASYURPMI(zarb) to get repositories and did all the updates..Then i used urpmi to download and install madwifi(Ialso have a pci adapter that uses the atheros chip)...It installed the driver and also the madwifi kernel..Then it was just a matter to use Drakconfig to set up the wifi card..It works perfectly..
KDE4 I feel still has a few bugs but i guess they will be ironed out in due time..
