grrr....this is my 3rd unsuccessful attempt at linus for one reason: i can never get internet access through my wireless lan.

Now with my latest update i can now actually use my modem but i would rather use my lan.

Doing some research before install i found i wanted to use the madwifi_pci driver/module whater you call it to install my card. So as i installed linux and as i tried to install my wireless card, after picking madwifi_pci, it gives me an error code:

insmod'ing module ath_pci failed at /usr/bin/pearl-
install/modules.pm line302

So i cancelled and tried again from the gui (KDE)
no luck as it flashed some dialogue boxes then returned to the "install manual modulethingy" screen

As this piques my interest i tried a couple other random drivers to see if they would at leat install.....same exact thing

Therefore i have determined that wither
1)my copy is screwed/there is a bug in this dist
2)this is the standard action from mandrake to tell you that that driver doesn't match the card you have

Either way i would like to know haow to fix.........PLEASE!!!!
