Will updating kernal source screw up my nvidia install?
There is an update to my kernal source in urpmi, updating to: "kernel-source-2.4.22-21mdk.i586". Being that I had to install the kernal source (at that time: kernal-source-2.4.22-10mdk) to install my nvidia video card drivers, will this update affect my video settings/drivers at all? In other words, if I install the update will it screw up anything?

Yeah, it'll probably wipe your nvidia drivers. No big deal, just re-install them.

Look for the NVidia document that was installed by the driver install program. I believe you will need to install the source the this kernel. The install program has an option to install for a kernel version you are not running yet. Look for the NVidia document that was installed by the install program. It has the details for doing what you want.
