Will Mandrake run on this computer. Please?
Hello. I want to give Mandrake Linux 10.0 a try on another computer of mine. Will Mandrake be able to run on a Pentium 2, 383 MB of RAM, CD ROM drive, no floppy disk drive, and a 3229 MB/3 GB drive? Thanks.

Does the system boot any CD's?
If not, change the BIOS so the CD is the first boot device. If you don't know how, I might be able to instruct you from the forum if I know what kind of system or BIOS you have.
Is the Mandrake 10.0 version you have a bootable CD? Some versions of 10.0 are not.
Floppy drives are cheap these days.... why doesn't it have a floppy drive?

Yeah, computer boots to a CD. I don't use floppies anymore, I now use flash drives. Do I really need floppies to install Mandrake? And where can I download Mandrake 10.0 Official, to ensure they are bootable? Thanks for the quick reply.
