why mandrake does this


i am a new linux user and i begin with ubuntu(hoary).it worked very well.then i decided to try mandrake 10.1 it worked well until shutdown. autoshutdown doesnot work.i must press power button.i know that my computer has acpi function.is there any idea about this problem.

Hi,

Go to MCC ---> boot options ---> boot manager ---> acpi box is to be ticked. reboot, now it
will shutdown correctly
