Which download mirror?
I had downloaded 2007 Spring and tried running it from cd. message came up that I needed the 32 bit version. All choices I saw were x86_64 or i586. I am currently running Itel P4 x86 32 bit. What mirror do I use? Is this a live cd option? Should I download an older version? if so which one? sorry about the length I'm just new to Linux and am trying different distros.

The other versions you should avoid are sparc, alpha and ppc(mac)and ia64(64bit intel). Because they too will not work on a 386 type architecture, like i386, i486, i586 and i686.(all 32bit processors)
