Angry Wheres KDE?

My KDE is gone! Where did it go?

I was in windows doing a few things and I decide to go back into linux to work on my sound problem. When I booted up it gave me a login screen, I never seen this one before, I think it was just plane xwindow login. Well anyways, I login and it loaded up IceVM, or something like that. I manage to find the cfg panal to have Gnome to launch when I login. So I rebooted and found myself at that same login screen, but this time it launch gnome. The last thing I remember doing was change my lilo theme. This work ok, I restart to test it out, and un installing firefox, thunderbird, and alsa RPMs, becaue i was having trouble with them. Any help will be greatly apercated.

thanks
colby

Maybe you can login in run-level 3 first, then write 'startkde' into the file .xinitrc in your own home directory(if there's none of this file, create it.), then type 'startx' to try to wake your KDE up. The premise is that you are sure to have KDE correctly installed.
