Where is my Java?

I installed Madriva LE 2005 on my newer computer. I guess it installed java also becuase when I go to install the j2re-1_4_2_08-linux-i586.rpm it says it is already installed. But I can't find it. Anyone know where the default install is for this? I am trying to stick with rpm's with an rpm based distro. Otherwise I would just compile it and install it that way. Thanks.

Mines located at: /usr/lib/jre... etc.
There should be a /usr/java folder with symbolic links to /usr/lib/jre, if it installed properly.

This is for Mandrake 10.1 official.

look for /usr/java/
Code:
[don@localhost ~]$ locate *java
/home/don/.java
/home/don/.openoffice/user/temp/java
/etc/.java
/usr/share/doc/libidn11-0.5.13/contrib/java
/usr/share/doc/libidn11-0.5.13/contrib/java/ExampleIDNA.java
/usr/share/doc/libidn11-0.5.13/contrib/java/IDNA.java
/usr/share/apps/kjava
/usr/java
/usr/java/jre1.5.0_02/bin/java
[don@localhost ~]$
-mind you, that was installed by me from Sun's website download, not Mandrake packaged rpm.

Now I have a new problem. I am not going to post it here because it is unrelated to this topic but I am really getting frustrated with Mandriva. The only one I have liked a lot is Mandrake 10.0 Official. The ones before never seemed to work that well and 10.1 and 10.2(LE 2005) is just giving me problems. I think I will wait a year or so until they have a chance to get the best of Mandrake and Conectiva together in Mandriva. Thanks Everyone.
