where can I get Mandrake?

Try the latest distro, fewer bugs and more hardware compatability.

i recommend if you have a dvd get the dvd image (remember only ext3 reiserFS and NTFS will allow you to save a file bigger than 3 GB

i also Recommend
if you have an Athlon64 to choose x86_64
since it is made for an Amd Athlon 64 as opposed to

i586 (Pentium 1) which doesnt support much that newer processors can do.
result is better performance
