I'm trying download second CD of ML 10.0 Official. But i saw ML 10.1 Official yesterday.

What are the diffirents between ML 10.0 & 10.1 Official ?
And should i give up ML 10.0 Official in order to use ML 10.1 Official?
Thanks!

Can i use cd3 of ML 10.1 Official in order to replace for cd3 of ML 10.0 Official with my distro (ML 10.0 Officical)?

10.1 CD3 should work (it has the same programs just updated versions if it doesnt. hit cancel
you wont need cd3 for basic KDE for now.

once you finished chuck the CD3 in your drive
KDE>system>CONFIGURATION>packaging>MEDIA MANAGER
add media new removable media name it and locate the CD

now save and exit now you can add whatever is on there from the Install SOftware Applet

No you CANNOT mix CD's.

You need the correct disk(s).

First: it is not a good idea to to try to use CD3 from MDK 10.1 with CD's 1 & 2 from MDK 10.0 due to the possibility of version conflicts.

Second: Mandrakelinux 10.1 (Official) is the currently available version. Until it was released, Mandrakelinux 10.0 (Official) was the current version.

MDK 10.1 (Official) contains significant improvements in hardware support and wifi management. I strongly recommend you download the complete MDK 10.1 (Official) distribution and forget trying to use MDK 10.0 even though this means downloading two more iso images.
