WG311T Installation Problems

Before even registering, I searched the forum for solutions to my problem but I kept hitting a dead end every time. Now to make it clear, I am a Linux newbie plain and simple I do not know Linux 1/2 as well as I know Windows. I want to install my Netgear WG311T Card and when using one of the guides that I found on this site (it was in a topic) I noticed I got an error something along the lines of "ATH0 Not Working" or not present or something of that sort.

I have to move my wireless card to my Windows machine so I'd really like there to be a straight forward guide to this that is preferably step-by-step based and well explained. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Information:
Wireless Card: Netgear WG311T
System Specs: Intel Celeron 1.8Ghz | 340MB DDR PC2100 RAM | 40GB Western Digital HDD | Chipset Intel 845 | Video: Onboard Intel Extreme Graphics (Extreme...lol)
Linux Distro: Mandrake/Mandriva Linux Limited Edition 2005 (6 CD Mandriva Club Release)
Madwifi Installed? Yes
NDISWRAPPER Installed? Yes

I found the Netgear wireless would't work and Mdk 10.1 doesn't have the drivers.

Only a few chipsets actually work with mandrake and netgears chipset isn't one of them.

ndiswrapper for mandrake has never worked whatever cards/usb's I have used.

Suggest you try suse until mandrake gets there act together.

Is SuSE as user friendly?
