way to find the address

Hi,
i am using mandrake linux.i have 5 systems connected to internet.
now i need to find their IP address. and who are all in the system.
and chat to them by a talk command but not working in my computer.
help me ...

Run ifconfig (I believe you have to run it as root). It will print out the local computer's basic network information, which will include the ip address.

sir,
/sbin/ifconfig only shows my computer IP i need to find the all the systems..
help me...

do a local ifconfig for the local interfaces as dping suggested or ping -R <host> to show the route too or try traceroute <host>.
