I have Mandriva 2006.0 free
I use KDE
Screen resolution 1600x1200 @ 24 bits / 100Hz

Problem is, that the last icon in the most left column of the desktop after every linux (kde) start moves down a few pixels (about 1/3 of icon size).

If I select "align to grid" it moves down one grid element.

If I take that icon and put it somewhere else on the desktop, the next icon in the first column (which becomes this way de bottom icon) moves down on next linux start.

If I do not put that icon back in place it moves downer and downer on the screen. I did not wait to see what happens if it reaches the bottom of the screen, but it is a pritty annoyeing thing to always "hunt" that icon.

Any suggestions are wellcome. Thanks.

What KDE version are you using? (Sorry dont know what comes with Mandriva 2006.0 free)

I use KDE 3.4.2

Figures... the problem was fixed at 3.5

Can it be solved in 3.4.2 ??? I would not like to reintall tha hole KDE ... In the far past I had some bad experiences with reinstalling (updateing) KDE...
