Video Settings 800-600 to 1024-768

hello i want to know how to change my video setting from 800-600 to 1024-768 and im using mandrake 8 and im using kde 2

edit the /etc/X11/XF86Config file, there might be a -4 at the end of the filename. -4 takes priority over the regular.

In /etc/X11/XF86Config put "1024x768" as the first entry in your Modes line: ie change it to

Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

then reboot.
