jsfueston LQ Newbie Registered: Jan 2004 Distribution: slack 9.1 Posts: 2 Rep:	video problem on 9.2 install Hi, all! I'm trying to install mdk 9.2. All goes well until the video setup. It doesn't recognize my ATI M10 9600 mobility 9600 video card. My display is a generic 15 in. flat panel. I searched the boards and know how to install the drivers once I have installed mdk, but I can't get it to accept any of the chioces offered in the install. When I boot up, all goes well until X is supposed to start, then I get a blank screen. The manual shows how to boot to a terminal in run level 3 and run XFdrake, but that did no good. So... During the install, what should i list as my monitor/video card so I can successfully boot, and from there get my drivers? thanks, john
