Hi
Have installed the four CDs for Mandriva 2007 .586.iso
Boot from Flopy
Screen flashes on and off
Mouse pointer will not move.
Mother board is GA-K8N51GMF-9 AMD K8 Socket 939 CPU
nVIDIA GeForce 6100

Any help to have Mandriva 2007 up and runing would be appreciated

what do you mean by floppy and screen flashing....did the install need a bootable floppy?

did the install fail while trying the cd1?

did the install appear to work but on reboot you get a blank screen and at what point?
