A little help with Mandrake 10.1 and video/sound drivers. On all other Linux distros Ive used, my sound card (Turtle Beach Santa Cruz) worked perfectly fine without having to do any weird stuff. Now, with this new 10.1 install, I get no sound from anything. The Turtle Beach site isnt much help.. anybody know how to get this working?

Also, I noticed that when I installed 10.1 it said that the community download version does not come with proprietary drivers for video cards. I'm running an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro and would like to get 3d acceleration working. I tested that little glxgears program and it worked, but I only got 150 FPS or so at default size. I was told it should be upwards of 500. Any idea where I can update my drivers? The ones on the ATI site will not install, it says theres a conflict with some other package.
