Vibra16C Madrake 10???

Does anyone know how to configure Mandrake 10 to use Vibra16C Soundcard?? It worked with slack and suse but for some reason Harddrake won't detect it.. any sugestions anyone?? it would be awesome to get sound working.. Thanks in Advance..

what sound driver are you using for the card? could you please post? also, if you're not using it already, try using the ALSA sound system instead of OSS.

Yeah, I had to install alsa after about 2 hours I figured it out, had to install alsa and it depedencies and then I found that this sound card was under sb16 so I did legacy probing for sb16 and Voila!! It worked set kdesound to use alsa instead of autodetect and there I have it.. a fully working Linux Mandrake system.
