OK, you have to get into the Mandrake Control Centre (MCC)

Click on your menu button,

Move up to where it says "System"

Across to where it says "Configuration"

Then down to where it says "Configure your computer".........Click on this

You will then be asked for your root password. Type it in and click ok.

The MCC will now open up. Down the bottom on the left hand side you will see a button that says "software mangement" .....Click on it and you will now be in RPMdrake.

This is the graphical environment to URPMI and is very easy to use.

Cheers

@ddrfreak

It seems like you are vhaving problem with package managment on your Mandrake system from your post. Use one thread to post all your questions instead of opening new ones. I am going to post some links for you, where you can get more information about Mandrake and urpmi.

there are other ways though (dann haben wir ganz anderen Methoden!)
