USB trouble in mandrake 9.2

Hi all,
I am having trouble with my USB.
I couldn't install mandrake with my Logitec mouse and genius laptop keyboard. the system would look like it was hanging.

Managed to get past it by unplugging the keyboard and mouse to let the system install and then plugged it back in during installation.

The problem is when i boot my linux it acts the same way when detecting USB. Until i unplug the mouse and keyboard again.

The system works fine when in linux.

What could i do to fix this problem?

thanx
