USB Iomega ZIP drive missing under Mdk10.1 Official

I've been so busy trying to get my networking problems with Mandrake 10.1 Official resolved that I didn't notice until yesterday evening that my USB Iomega ZIP drive is missing in action after installing -- it was automatically recognized and supported under 9.2 prior to installing 10.1.

Would anyone be so kind as give me a pointer or two on how to get it recognized and working?
