URPMI, what's plf, club, jpackages etc..?

I'm very confused with all those available kind of packages available via easyurpmi.
Could someone be kind enough to explain to a Mandrake newbie what's the difference between all these sources ?
Do I need to install all those mirrors in my urpmi config file ?
tia

PLF usually houses programs or packages that due to country/legal restrictions, cannot always be freely disseminated, such as the css and other encryption codes.

Jpackage is a Java repository.

Contrib contains the majority of the available software.

Main contains the stock Mandrake RPM's as found on your CD's.

Updates, contains updates to the stock Mandrake RPM's.

YES it's advisable to add ALL of these sources though you could skip MAIN.

Why?

Often a package in PLF will require a file from Contrib, etc.

If you do not add all the sources then some or many programs may not install or function properly.

See my sig for easy instructions on how to set all of this up.

Thanks a lot for that interesting information Opjose.
I don't have any problem updating Mandrake via urpmi, but I was curious about the purpose of the different available repositories.
Now, at least I'm sure they must all be included in my config file.
