URPMI Servers

What's been up with the URPMI servers lately. It seems like when I need to download some libraries or whatever the server I need is down. And at the same time the easy urpmi site is down, and urpmi.org. Anyone know what's going on? Are they being hacked, going through a lawsuit, or doing maintenance or what? Are they all connected?

While the easyurpmi site was down for a few days, the repositories have all been working.

Remember though that there are connection limits imposed to keep the speeds high, so you may have been hitting them during a busy period.

When in doubt connect via FTP client or browser to see what is up.

I found that to be true at times. What I did at first was to set up more than a single sources for each - contribs, plf and updates. This way if one of the mirrors are down or to busy than urpmi would go to the next. Now I put a spare 20g hd in my firewall/server and did a mirror of 4 different sites for each. So I know that at least one of them are uptodate and I just set up the machine to my server. Plus all people I install for also use my machine as their sources.

Earlier today I used the servers and they were fine. I used the ones in Germany - which are you using?
