how can i update my kernel to latest 2.6 kernel?

urpmi kernel

says allready installed

my kernel is now 2.4.23

AFAIK, you will have to set a mirror in your list to one of the cooker mirrors for something like that. I'd personally, if I was going to upgrade to that kernel, do it manually, it might be easier to NOT break things that way.
