Upgrade Mandriva

Currently i am running Mandriva 2006 RC2,
some bugs exist during logout,
later, when the full version is released, can i Upgrade it without reformat my HDD?

i found that mandriva 2006 RC2 is less stable than RC1,
of course, RC2 does not crash in my PC,
but when i shutdown, it says got bug .
i need to click OK to continue shutdown.

It works fine for me. Whats the exact problem you have when shutting down, include any error messages.

I've found LE2005 to be A LOT more stable than RC2.
The only improvement I can see, is the startup time being very much reduced.

no apparent error, just a popup for me to click yes and then shutdown.
i will check later n let u know.
