Upgrade from 2008 to 2008.1 problems

I have tried upgrading but now cannot launch MCC. I get this error

since no-one has replied I suggest you copy your data files as required and do a clean install

BTW , YMMV but I never recommend anyone to use 64 bit at this stage....there is better range of software with 32 bit and modern computers with decent ram and cpu ...bus speed etc have little difference in loss of ability to hold more in ram that 64 bit offers...versus the ease of 32 bit apps.

My installer didn't let me use 32 bit. I tried that and it yelled at me. I have not tried a fresh install of 2008.1 using 32bit on my laptop.

BTW, I did an "install" using the disks (upgrade option) which took about 5 seconds and everything is working again.
