Updating and installing software in 10.0

Ok well I got everything working in 10.0 and I like it a lot. Now, it seems to me that anytime I try to update software or urpmi from USA mirrors all I get is errors. I've had good luck using the ones in France and Germany, but it seems to me like the ones in the US are junk. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how it is?

probably just busy? when ever I've use easy urpmi to update the sources, I only ever get problems when whatever mirror I've chosen is busy.

This is my first time using Mandrake so I don't know all the in's and out's but I am pretty sure those links are junk.

I think the problem is that those sites are currently distributing the iso's and rpm's but they do not have the updated rpm's. Before taking me word on that you may want to check them out now by just ftping into them and looking. I created a remote install souce and had to use a server in Frace because the US and Iceland server didn't have the updates. You may want to give that a try.
