unable ton install mandrake 10.01

hello all , sorry for the mistake i do because i'm french...

So i've downloaded linu mandrake 10.01 and burnt it on three cd's , i made a floppy because my cd install didn't work when i boot the pc (i have changed the device to boot in the bios , thats ok)

because my cd told me that

Did you burn the CD's properly. If you have a cd with the .iso file inside, then you didn't burn them as images. It's possible that the disks are bad also, and could'nt load in the boot kernel from the disk.

You must burn the iso images. It's kind of obvious burning a .rar with the images won't work...

Use nero or something to burn ISO images from the images you downloaded.

http://ww2.nero.com/us/neroue-prog.php

go to:

recorder tab

then:

burn image

then:

you will see "burn files of type .iso .cue .bin" somewhere in that window. That's where you want to be.

I'm assuming your using windows to burn the mandrake cd's.
Good luck!!
