Unable to access programs in Mandrake 9.2
 

I just installed Mandrake 9.2 a few days ago and I just got it configured to my liking, however upon booting my computer this morning, it has changed. I cannot make changes to my desktop or menus, several of the applications in the start menu have disappeared (in fact most of them), and several applications do nothing when I click on them. Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know what to do!

yeah, this has happend to me more than just a couple of times.

Go to the configure and open up Menu Drake. Choose the System Menu and after everything loads up, make sure all your apps that you want are listed in the tree view, if so, click on "Save".

After that, all your programs should be on your start menu.

This drove me NUTS! Happens every time I install new software and place it on the menu. Now I've just gotten used to it ;)
