I installed the 3.3 packages from disc 4 of the download edition of 10.1 via RPMDrake by uninstalling every bit of KDE (i was in gnome) and then installed KDE 3.3.

Since I have had 2 slgiht problems that seem extremely random...i can't figure out what causes it. But I'll open a program (konqueror does it more than most) and the hard disk with read for 20 minutes, long after the prog is open. I'm not sure if this is a common bug, but I couldn't find it on here.

THe other thing is at random times a program will just exit. Anything from the icon change untility to the look and feel settings to kpilot.

Neither of these happen often enough for me to REALLY pinpoint the cause, but will happen once a day or so. I have read stability issues with 3.3.x and mandrake 10.1, but nothing in particular.

If there is a maintanence thing that i should do, please let me know...I could easily have forgotten to run a command (i've done updatedb and a few others) but something to integrate kde more fully. thanks!
