tv-out nVidia

Good day,

Tonight I've installed Mandrake 10.0 and I'm glad to have made the step to linux, after a 100 days programming in win98 on my work I don't want to come home and see the word M$.

Every thing is going well so far, but now I would like to use my tv-out on my nVidia GeForce4 videocard. On Windows I had the possibility to send the video I'm playing full screen to the tv-out. Is this possible on Mandrake?

I've tried to install the nVidia driver but it gives an error about my kernel.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get my tv-out to work?

You don't actually need to install the Nvidia drivers, but what error do you get?

What your probably looking for is NvTv Which is still in Alpha at the moment, but works very well.

make failed for nvtv

Good day,

I'm trying to install nvtv on Mandrake 10.0.
After './configure' I type 'make' and It says this:

[root@localhost lib]# make
/bin/sh ./libtool --mode=compile gcc -I. -I. -I../src -INONE -g -c nvtv_simple.c
mkdir .libs
gcc -I. -I. -I../src -INONE -g -Wp,-MD,.deps/nvtv_simple.pp -c nvtv_simple.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/nvtv_simple.o

You might want to check there list of dependancies ( maybe your missing some libs ). Also what version of GCC its been tested on.

Did you read the install file?
