i just got a second HDD for my system and i would like to add this drive as a SW raid-1 to the existing one. is it possible to turn my ext3 partitions into a raid-1 drive without loosing the data on them? if yes, can i use the built-in tool (diskdrake) to make the raid or should i do it by hand (as described in the HOWTO on tldp.org)? or could you point me to more info on this?

i've searched through the archives and the net but couldn't find anything on this. i'm running mandrake 9.2 on an intel 586 (or similar).

any help is apreciated.
