to play midi and autoplay on cd in

(my distro is 10.1 official)
i want kscd to play automatically when i insert cd. when i checked it in configuration i got a massage, something like my email address isn't correct. what? and then auto-play doesn't work. i don't have the original message because i can't get it again...
another issue, i installed program called playmidi and i tried to run command playmidi-
nothing happens. then i started terminal and run playmidi, now i get a bunch of some information..
any ideas?

it sounds like something is missing from the KDE-multimedia package.......you might try re-installing it......

i installed all packages (3) that starts with kde-mulitmedia and then i ran /usr/bin/playmidi. nothing happens. then i was lucky to hit the command kmid, because kmidi player started. yippee i thought. but no.
when i tried to play a midi file from terminal i got this: 'Player :: There are no midi ports !'
so it doesn't work either..
auto-play cd is still the same-not working..
maybe i have a distro that is not complete. i ordered cds from linuxworld.co.uk. it costed 5£. very cheap.
i saw also on other pages 3 versions of mandriva were the cheapest one was about 50 euro..so the linux isn't exactly free in therms of $. okey i would say i got my distro for free 'cause 5 £ is nothing considering time to burn it, send it etc..
