Question Time sync?

I have a Mandrake 9.1 system and am trying to sync the clock with the following :

rdate -s 132.163.4.101 && hwclock --systohc

However, I get " Alarm clock " as a responce. Anyone know what this means?

Thanks!
Fred

I'm not sure what rdate is, however I use ntpd. the package is ntp-4.1.1-2mdk. it runs in the background and keeps my clock set.
