sync-kde-0.8.0 on Mandrake 10.0
I have read a number of post regarding compiling the above. None have worked for me.
[COLOR=dark-blue] [root@harpo synce-kde-0.8.0]# whereis konqueror [/COLOR]
konqueror: /usr/bin/konqueror
[COLOR=dark-blue] [root@harpo synce-kde-0.8.0]# kde-config --path apps [/COLOR]
/root/.kde/share/applnk-mdk/:/usr/share/applnk-mdk/
[COLOR=dark-blue] [root@harpo synce-kde-0.8.0]# export KDEDIR=/usr [/COLOR]
[COLOR=dark-blue] [root@harpo synce-kde-0.8.0]# export kde_appsdir=/usr/share/applnk-mdk/ [/COLOR]
[COLOR=dark-blue] [root@harpo synce-kde-0.8.0]# ./configure --prefix=$KDEDIR [/COLOR]
gives
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!
What am I doing wrong? Please help!
